MANAGING PARTNER: Graeme King

Mr King established the company in 2018 after serving 15 years in the Australian Army followed by extensive experience gained in the resource sector. Graeme has worked predominantly in the field of logistics within the Mining, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sector since leaving the Defence Force in 2009. During this time he has been part of key leadership teams for capital projects in Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, Indonesia and Japan. Graeme holds a Master's in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business in addition to a number of logistical and project management qualifications. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon and lives in Brisbane.

MANAGING PARTNER: Kazuhiro Iwata

Mr. Iwata is a co-founder of Advanced Energies Group with Mr. King and he is a financing professional with over 15 years of experience in finance and real estate industry mostly with US financial institutions including Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. He has been involved in renewable energy sector in recent years and has primarily been involved in sourcing and execution of renewable energy projects including solar and biomass projects. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Rutgers, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

SENIOR TECHNICAL DIRECTOR: Shinichi Tokuda

Mr. Tokuda is a veteran engineer with solid experience in one of the world best engineering company in Japan, JGC. Over 46 years of experience as an engineer, he has extensive engineering experience as senior positions including ocean pipeline projects both in Japan and Middle East. He also has an experience in building a 112MW oil gas turbine power plant and a 75MW biomass plant both in Japan. In bio-energy sector, he has been in charge of a bio-ethanol plant combined with a biomass as well as a biogas plants in the Philippines.

SENIOR TECHNICAL DIRECTOR: Yoshikazu Endo

Mr. Endo is a thermal power plant design and an operation engineer with decades long experience at Mitsubishi Heavy Industry (MHI), one of the world best engineering companies of Japan. His primary expertise is large-scale coal fired thermal power plants, drinking water and sewage water treatment facilities management in Japan. Designing, modification, construction management, performance assessment, and operation as well as maintenance solution on the operating facility is his field of expertise. In recent years, he has developed a few biomass thermal power plants which are 50 to 112MW capacity and mega-solar power plants in Japan working as a technical advisor for non-engineering clients including coordination of project finance. He’s been an all-round player in thermal power projects.

SENIOR AGRICULTURAL DIRECTOR: Akira Sugimoto

Dr. Sugimoto is the most reputable sugar intellectual in the world. He used to be the principal plant breeder of Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS). JIRCAS is the institute in Japan for conducting research and development (R&D) on agriculture through joint research with foreign institutes with its mission in contributing to the development of society through innovations in agriculture. His extensive experience in sugar cane farming around the globe has been involved in most of sugar growing countries fighting against variety causes including drought, disease, and climate change of any kind. He’s been currently in multiple advisor roles in sugarcane farming primarily in Asia. He’s been one of the primary developers of the Asahi Inversion process even before the technology was recognized as it is today.

ENGINEERING DIRECTOR: Simon Dymke

Mr Simon Dymke is an engineering professional within the industrial, commercial and resource sectors as well as having worked in high voltage electrical transmission industry serving a period of 15 years. Following this appointment, Simon has worked as an Assets and Projects Executive managing linear infrastructure projects as well as civil, commercial and residential development projects with a diverse portfolio is inclusive of projects valued over $500M. Simon has also been involved in the establishment of business process development, asset development, contract procurement and change management. Simon holds a Master's in Business Administration, Master's in Project Management as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and other interrelated certificates and diplomas within the Engineering, Business and Project Management field. Simon, through his studies has achieved a membership status within the Golden Key International Honour Society and presently lives in Brisbane.
